  1. In a large pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Pour in chicken or vegetable broth, bringing the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  3. Stir in soy sauce and rice vinegar; allow the broth to simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Gently add frozen potstickers to the pot and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. If using, add sliced mushrooms or spinach in the last couple of minutes.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, or chili oil if desired.
