Step-by-Step Instructions for Crispy Rice Paper Noodle Rolls
  1. Soak one rice paper sheet in warm water for 10–15 seconds until it becomes pliable.
  2. In the center of the softened rice paper, layer a small amount of cooked vermicelli noodles, shredded carrots, chopped cabbage, and your choice of protein.
  3. Fold the sides of the rice paper sheet inward over the filling, then carefully roll the bottom edge up over the filling, tightening it as you go.
  4. Lightly brush or spray the outside of each roll with sesame oil.
  5. Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and give it a couple of minutes to preheat.
  6. Carefully place the rice paper rolls seam-side down in the air fryer basket.
  7. Air fry the rolls for about 8–10 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
  8. Once cooked, remove from the air fryer and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
