Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Rinse the sticky rice under cold water until clear, soak for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  2. Steam the soaked rice for 20-25 minutes until translucent and tender.
  3. In a saucepan, combine coconut milk, sugar, and salt over low heat until sugar dissolves.
  4. If sauce is thin, mix cornstarch with cold water and thicken the sauce over low heat.
  5. Combine steamed rice with 1 cup of warm coconut sauce, mix, and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  6. Serve the sticky rice topped with sliced mangoes and drizzle with remaining coconut sauce.
