Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter or olive oil, letting it melt and shimmer.
  2. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides. Place salmon skin side up into the skillet; cook for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Gently flip the salmon and continue cooking for another 3-4 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  4. Remove salmon and tent with foil to keep warm. Lower the heat to medium.
  5. Whisk together orange juice, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and cornstarch in a bowl to create the glaze.
  6. Pour the glaze into the skillet over medium heat, stirring until it thickens, about 30-60 seconds.
  7. Return the cooked salmon to the skillet, spooning the glaze over each fillet.
  8. Serve the glazed salmon on plates, garnish with orange slices and parsley.
