Preparation Steps
  1. Start by slicing the fresh pineapple into 1/2-inch thick rings. Set aside.

  3. Add the egg and milk, mixing until smooth.
  4. Heat the oil to 375°F (190°C) in a deep fryer or pot.
  5. Dip each pineapple ring into the batter and let excess drip off.
  6. Fry each battered pineapple ring for about 2 minutes per side until golden brown.
  7. Remove from oil and allow to drain on paper towels.
