Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Steak: Place your steak in the freezer for 20-30 minutes until it firms up, making slicing easier. Once firm, remove it and thinly slice against the grain into bite-sized strips.
  2. Make the Stir Fry Sauce: In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, fresh orange juice, honey, cornstarch, and sesame oil until smooth. Set this sauce aside.
  3. Cook the Steak: Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add the sliced steak and season with kosher salt and ground pepper. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned.
  4. Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil and toss in the thinly sliced carrots and asparagus. Sauté for about 3 minutes. Next, add the bell peppers and snow peas, stir-frying for an additional 3 minutes.
  5. Add Garlic and Combine: Introduce the minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute. Return the cooked steak to the skillet and pour the prepared stir fry sauce over the mixture, stirring continuously for about 3 minutes.
  6. Serve Your Dish: Once the sauce thickens, sprinkle sesame seeds over your stir fry and serve immediately over rice or noodles.
