  • 1/2 cup Oat Flour (or Almond Flour/Rolled Oats) Rolled oats can be blended for flour.
For Extra Indulgence
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips Optional but recommended for flavor enhancement.
  • Optional Chocolate Coating A mix of oil and extra chocolate or a cocoa-sweetener blend.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Prepare an 8-inch square pan with parchment or wax paper.
  2. Blend black beans, salt, nut butter, maple syrup, cocoa powder, and oat flour in a food processor until smooth and creamy (2-3 minutes).
  3. Gently stir in the chocolate chips by hand.
  4. Spread the chocolate mixture into the prepared pan and press down firmly. Freeze for 1 hour to set.
  5. For optional coating, melt extra chocolate chips with oil, or mix cocoa powder, coconut oil, and sweetener, and pour over the bars. Freeze for an additional 15-30 minutes.
  6. Remove from the pan, cut into squares or rectangles, and serve or store in an airtight container.
