Preparation Steps
- Prepare an 8-inch square pan with parchment or wax paper.
- Blend black beans, salt, nut butter, maple syrup, cocoa powder, and oat flour in a food processor until smooth and creamy (2-3 minutes).
- Gently stir in the chocolate chips by hand.
- Spread the chocolate mixture into the prepared pan and press down firmly. Freeze for 1 hour to set.
- For optional coating, melt extra chocolate chips with oil, or mix cocoa powder, coconut oil, and sweetener, and pour over the bars. Freeze for an additional 15-30 minutes.
- Remove from the pan, cut into squares or rectangles, and serve or store in an airtight container.
