- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8x4 inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Melt the dark chocolate using a double-boiler or microwave until smooth.
- Mash the ripe bananas until smooth and set aside.
- Combine mashed bananas, neutral oil, and melted chocolate in a bowl and stir in vanilla extract.
- Fold the banana mixture into the dry ingredients gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle dark chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for approximately 45 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
