For the Tzatziki Sauce
  • 1 medium Cucumber Squeeze out excess moisture before mixing.
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt Greek yogurt is preferred for texture.

Method
 

Prep and Cook
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken with minced garlic, dried oregano, crumbled feta cheese, and breadcrumbs. Mix gently for about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Shape the chicken mixture into four equal patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 375°F (190°C). Lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
  4. Grill each side of the patties for approximately 6 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. In a mixing bowl, prepare the tzatziki sauce by combining grated cucumber, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and minced garlic. Allow to chill for 30 minutes.
  6. Serve the burgers on toasted buns with tzatziki sauce and optional toppings like fresh lettuce or tomato.
