Preparation Steps
- Boil approximately two cups of water, then add butterfly pea flowers and steep for 5-7 minutes. Strain and allow to cool.
- Optional: Add honey or sweetener to warm tea and stir until dissolved.
- Froth the milk until creamy and airy, about 1-2 minutes.
- Fill a glass with ice cubes, then pour cooled butterfly pea tea halfway.
- Slowly pour the frothed milk over the back of a spoon to layer.
- Squeeze lemon juice into the drink for a color change from blue to purple.
- Garnish with fresh or dried butterfly pea flowers and serve immediately.
