  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese Softened
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar Can be swapped with powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Use pure for best flavor
  • 2 tablespoons Melted Butter Margarine can work in a pinch
For Dusting
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar Optional
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Optional, nutmeg can be used for a twist

Method
 

Directions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, blend together 8 ounces of softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough onto a clean surface and separate it into triangles.
  4. Place a generous spoonful of the cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Starting from the wide end, roll the dough towards the point to form a crescent shape.
  6. Brush each rolled crescent with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar and serving.
