- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, blend together 8 ounces of softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Unroll the crescent dough onto a clean surface and separate it into triangles.
- Place a generous spoonful of the cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
- Starting from the wide end, roll the dough towards the point to form a crescent shape.
- Brush each rolled crescent with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar and serving.
