Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cut the vanilla or pound cake into 1-inch cubes and let them dry out slightly.
  2. In mini trifle glasses, layer the cake cubes at the bottom.
  3. Add a layer of vanilla custard over the cake cubes.
  4. Gently layer mixed berries on top of the custard, and drizzle cranberry sauce if desired.
  5. Repeat the layering process until the cups are filled.
  6. Top each trifle with whipped cream, chopped pistachios, and sprinkles. Add mint leaves if using.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
