Step-by-Step Instructions for One Bowl Banana Bread
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mash 3 large overripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Add 1/2 cup of melted unsalted butter into the mashed bananas and stir until well combined.
  4. Whisk in 2/3 cup of granulated sugar, 2 room temperature eggs, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, sift together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
  6. Gradually fold the flour mixture into the banana mixture until just combined.
