  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 large Egg optional, for binding
For the Topping
  • 1 cup Cheese optional, for topping

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice a small head of cabbage into thick ½-inch slices and arrange them on a lined baking sheet. Brush both sides with olive oil.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef or turkey with onion, garlic, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined. Add an egg if desired.
  4. Shape the mixture into patties roughly the size of the cabbage slices and place each patty on the cabbage.
  5. Bake for about 25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) and the cabbage is tender.
  6. If using cheese, sprinkle it on top and broil for an additional 3 to 5 minutes until melted.
  7. Remove from oven, let them rest, and serve hot.
