  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce Can substitute with tamari.
  • 1 tablespoon Oyster Sauce Optional.
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil For a nutty finish.
  • ½ teaspoon Salt To taste.
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper To taste.
  • ½ teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes Optional for heat.
  • 1 bunch Bok Choy Chopped, keep stems and leaves separate.
  • ¼ cup Water or Chicken Broth To help soften bok choy.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Gather and prep your ingredients: chop half an onion finely, mince garlic and ginger, chop bok choy stems and leaves.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add garlic, ginger, and onion, sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add ground meat to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, breaking apart until fully browned.
  4. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 1 minute.
  5. Add bok choy stems, stir-fry for 2 minutes, then pour in water or broth. Cover and steam for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Uncover and add bok choy leaves. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until leaves are wilted but still vibrant.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve immediately over rice, noodles, or quinoa.
