For the Cheese Topping
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese Cheddar or gouda are replacements.
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
For Garnish
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • to taste Salt and Pepper

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice your loaf of bread lengthwise down the middle and place it cut-side up on the baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to create garlic butter.
  4. Spread the garlic butter mixture generously over the cut sides of the bread.
  5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the buttered bread.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  7. Let cool for a minute, sprinkle with parsley, slice, and serve warm.
