Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather your ingredients.
  2. Dice the chicken into uniform 1-inch chunks and cut the potatoes similarly. Chop the broccoli if necessary.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine chicken, potatoes, broccoli, cheddar cheese, chicken broth, melted butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Grease a 3-quart casserole dish and pour in the mixture. Smooth out the top and cover tightly with aluminum foil.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes covered, until chicken and potatoes are tender.
  6. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
  7. Let it cool for 5-10 minutes before serving. Optionally, add more cheese on top.
