  • 1 cup Red Lentils soaked for at least 30 minutes
  • 1 cup Rolled Oats can substitute with gluten-free oats
  • 2 cups Fresh Spinach kale can be substituted
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder or fresh garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil for cooking
  • to taste Salt & Black Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Water adjust for consistency

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Rinse and soak the red lentils under cold water for 30 minutes.
  2. Blend the soaked lentils with oats, spinach, cumin, garlic powder, turmeric, salt, pepper, and water until smooth.
  3. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat with olive oil.
  5. Shape the rested dough into four equal balls and roll each into 1/8 inch thick circles.
  6. Cook each wrap in the skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Keep cooked wraps warm by covering with a towel.
