Step-By-Step Instructions
  1. Season the shrimp and cook in vegetable oil for 2–3 minutes until pink. Remove and set aside.
  2. Brown the ground sausage in the same skillet for 5–7 minutes until cooked through.
  3. Sauté chopped onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic in the skillet for 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the seasonings and sprinkle flour over the mixture, mixing for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 5–7 minutes.
  6. Add rice, lower heat, and let simmer for another 5 minutes.
  7. Fold the shrimp back into the skillet and combine well, cooking for 2 minutes.
