Step-by-Step Instructions for Tofu Deli Meat
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C). Gather your ingredients and prepare equipment.
  2. Drain the block of high-protein tofu and pat it dry. Slice the tofu into even ¼ inch thick pieces.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine vegetable broth, Bragg's Liquid Aminos, liquid smoke, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Whisk well.
  4. Pour the marinade over the tofu slices in a shallow container and let marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  5. Grease a large baking sheet with light olive oil, or line it with parchment paper.
  6. Spread the marinated tofu slices evenly onto the greased baking sheet.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through.
