  3. Allow the banana mixture to sit for 15-20 minutes.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together 1 cup flour, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, and a pinch of salt.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together 1 cup buttermilk, 1/4 cup cooled melted butter, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until smooth.
