Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare Ingredients: Begin by finely chopping 3 cloves of garlic and a thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger. Next, cut your chicken breasts or thighs into bite-sized pieces. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions, typically boiling for 4-6 minutes until al dente, then drain and set aside, tossing them with a little oil to prevent sticking.
  2. Cook Chicken: Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the chicken pieces, spreading them out evenly. Sauté for about 6-8 minutes until all sides are golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Make Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium, add the garlic and ginger, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Then stir in soy sauce, honey, and chili flakes. Let the sauce simmer for 3-5 minutes until it thickens.
  4. Combine Noodles: Add the cooked noodles and sautéed chicken back into the skillet, using tongs to gently toss everything together until thoroughly coated in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve and Garnish: Transfer the dish to serving plates and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve hot.
